Our eggs are fertilized by a good ratio of roosters and are ready for hatching under the right incubation conditions and you will get eggs that are under 7 days old. Here’s some more information:

• • Breed Characteristics: Kienyeji chickens are known for their disease resistance, ability to thrive on minimal feed, and quality meat and egg production. Fertile eggs from these birds are popular for raising chickens that can adapt well to local conditions. We supply fertile eggs of the following breeds; Kuroiler, Rainbow Roster, KARI Improved Kienyeji, Sasso and Kenbro.
  • These are the first generation (F1) offspring. The chicks inherit both the resilience of the Kienyeji and the enhanced productivity of the commercial breeds.

• Kienyeji improved chicken have faster growth, better feed conversion, increased egg production, and better disease resistance than pure Kienyeji breeds.
• Hatching Success: The hatching rate of Kienyeji fertile eggs can vary depending on proper handling, transportation, storage, and incubation. • Incubation: The same general rules of incubation apply to Kienyeji fertile eggs. However, the incubation time is typically 21 days under optimal conditions. When you buy and transport the eggs to your hatchery, you will need to let the eggs settle for 12 – 24hrs before placing them in the incubator or under a broody chicken.

Placing Order

You can call, message, WhatsApp or email us through 0708923991 and info@ziwanipoultry.com to place your order. Minimum order is 1 tray (30 eggs). You can pick the Kienyeji Fertile eggs from our farm in Ngoliba, Thika or we can post them to you at your cost. You need to place your order at least one or two weeks in advance to guarantee availability.

Our fertile eggs will be well packed and transported under suitable conditions to maintain their fertility. You can pay for the Kienyeji Improved fertile though mobile money (M-Pesa), or bank transfers.
